HISTORIC CENTRE
Vic’s historic centre is a trip through time in the capital of Osona: Roman remains (like a 2nd century temple), medieval remains like the walls or the cathedral, which mixes Romanesque, Gothic, Baroque and Neoclassic styles, along with singular buildings which give faithful testimony of Catalan Modernism.

MARKETS
In the popular square surrounded by arcades, known as the Mercadal or Main Square, a symbol of the city, numerous markets and fairs take place throughout the year uniting visitors from all over the country: the Paint Market, the Brocanters (second-hand dealers) Market, the Senses Market or weekly markets offering hand crafted goods, flowers or birds.
CUISINE
As with all the towns of Osona, the inevitable gastronomic protagonists are the cured sausages: butifarra (Catalan sausage) from Vic, somalla, baiona, llonganissa or bisbe stand out. Without forgetting some star products from the earth, mushrooms and truffles.
